Polar planet is delighted to provide our customers with quotations so you can apply for your Green Homes Grant. The Green Homes Grant is a brand new Scheme by the department for business, energy and industrial strategy (BEIS) and TrustMark to decarbonise properties across the UK keeping us on track to be carbon free by 2050 and to create/support thousands of jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
You can get up to £5,000 to pay part of the cost of energy saving measures. Low income households and homeowners with certain benefits can get 100% of the costs of work covered up to £10,000. The grant comes in the form of a voucher you redeem with us.
We will be installing both air-source heat pumps and solar thermal under the Green Homes Grant Scheme, such as the new Daikin Altherma 3 air-source heat pump (pictured below).
Once the Government has issued the vouchers (End of November 2020) we can start carrying out your installations. As a Green Homes Grant installer, we can continue to work during national restrictions insuring we carry out work as safely as possible. All our installers will be following the TrustMark Work Safe, Safe Work scheme.
