We have just finished installed a brand new, two panel, solar thermal system under the Green Homes Grant Scheme. The work included removing there existing hot water cylinder and installing a new solar thermal, twin coil cylinder. Included in the installation package was an expansion vessel, solar thermal pump station, controller and of course the solar thermal collectors on there roof. This has enabled our customer to run there hot water off the power of the sun reducing there carbon foot print.
Originally we wanted to install a thirty tubed collector panel on the roof however the dimensions of the panel would not fit. The beauty of a solar thermal system is that you can use two collector panels together to work around space restrictions.
